.. About Cincinnati Real Estate Club ..

Founded in 2002 by Josh Gerth, and officially incorporated in July of 2003, the Cincinnati Real Estate Club has become a great networking group of local agents, brokers, developers and other commercial real estate professionals.

The club goals have always been to keep things simple and fun. By getting together every month for happy hours and other events, members get up to date on what is going on in the industry. It is a great way for new people in the industry to meet others however many veterans of the industry also attend to get caught up with their fellow peers.

Since accepting memberships in July of 2003, we currently have over 120 members. We continue to grow membership everyday and welcome anyone to attend our events and other real estate related events in the city. This is a great business full of great people and more often than not, our paths cross at some point. The Cincinnati Real Estate Club is a great way to help build those relationships and friendships in a very social and fun atmosphere.

In July of 2008, the CREC merged with the local Cincinnati chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Proerties to become the NAIOP Developing Leaders Council.

Did You Know?

Cincinnati got her name from General Arthur St. Clair, Commander of Fort Washington. The name comes from the "Society Of Cincinnati" - an organization of revolutionary war officers. Prior to "Cincinnati", our fair city was named "Losantiville" by John Filson, on the first settlers in the Ohio Valley community.
"Losantiville" means "town opposite the mouth." In this case the mouth is the Licking River as it joins to Ohio River.
